Ikue Sagimoto

Ikue Sagimoto is an internationally renowned ‘vibe’ engineer. Growing up Japan in the 1970’s, Ikue overcame considerable barriers to achieve the prominence she has in what has, hitherto, been a male dominated preserve. In her most audacious project Ikue introduced the feel and sensations of an FA cup semi-final replay into a Papal blessing in St Peters. More recently Ikue evoked a ritual initiation ceremony from Papua New Guinea at Gateshead Metro centre, which resulted in the current successful cultural exchange programme. Ikue has consistently made clear that she is tied to no one media and will use ‘whatever means necessary’. While others in her field have grown rich providing unusual situations for the parties of the super rich and terminally jaded, Ikue has never forgotten her roots and puts all her profits into her own charitable organization ISIT, which supports the development of vibeology in the Third world
